How a Viral Advertising Web Site Works
One of the most important things that you, as an online business owner, have to do, is get as many websites as possible to display a link to your site. It is also vitally important to your online success to get as many people as possible to actually look at that link.
One way to accomplish both is with a viral advertising website.
Now, you can create your own viral advertising site, or you can use one already created by someone else.
Creating your own viral advertising website is a bit tricky because you either have to manually create a new website for each new member, or you have to have the skill to create a computer code or script to do it for you...or hire someone who knows how to do it.
Since the goal is usually going to be to get as many links to your website as possible for as little cost as possible, using an already existing service, such as Free Viral, is going to save you a lot of money and time. Besides, an already existing service will accomplish your goal of getting as many website visitors as possible for as little money as possible just as effectively as having your own site.
HOW DOES A VIRAL ADVERTISING SITE WORK?
Generally, a viral advertising page has several website links on it numbered 1, 2, 3, etc.
When you sign up as a viral website member (usually for free), you generally have to view each of the websites already listed on the page. You will receive a unique code for viewing each website, which you then place on the original page to prove that you actually viewed the sites. Usually, you do not get the code immediately, but actually have to wait for 20 or 30 seconds before the code appears. That way, you actually have to view each site.
You will also be given an opportunity to create a description and link to your website.

Once you have created your description and link, viewed the pages, and entered the codes, you will receive a link to a webpage just like the one you viewed, except your description and website link will be in the first position. Each of the others will have been moved down one.
Now, instead of advertising your site directly, you can offer this free viral advertising tool to others. As others sign up, and they will...I have used this method for years...your description and link will appear on more and more pages and be seen by more and more people.
Almost everybody trying to sell things online needs advertising, and most are seeking free advertising. A free viral advertising site, such as Free Viral, can give almost anyone thousands of websites displaying information about that site.
Now, here's one important fact.
If you try to "sell" something using free viral advertising, you may not want to use this type of service. People don't like to buy things from strangers, especially when so many people are trying to sell pretty much the same thing. Once people go to your website and see that you have some service or information of value to offer, they will be more relaxed about perhaps purchasing additional services from the site you send them to.
