Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet Has a New Name Copyright 2013 Donovan Baldwin For years, one Internet marketing course was number one. Thousands of people used it as the preeminent guide on how to start an Internet business...and make it successful! Developed several years ago by the legendary Internet marketer, Corey Rudl, "Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet", was it! While people could successfully learn how to make money online without it, the course, which cost a little over $200 was worth it just for the fact that it could save hours of frustration, hundreds of treks down blind alleys, and thousands of dollars which would be thrown away in the Internet version of the school of hard knocks. Then, came the sad day that Corey Rudl died in an auto racing accident. Fortunately for Internet marketers yet to be, Corey had a good friend and business partner named Derek Gehl. Derek took over running the internationally famous Internet Marketing Center (IMC) and kept on updating the "Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet", just as Corey Rudl had. The Internet is a constantly changing landscape, however, and new tactics must be constantly devised, and revised, to meet new markets and new technologies. Also, the people coming online were more tech savvy and were often already business oriented. One problem is that the world of Internet marketing is a great leveler. With the right product, tools, training, and attitude, Homer Simpson has almost as much chance of success as a Harvard MBA! For years, "Insider Secrets to Marketing your Business on the Internet" had supplied the tools and training for both the Homer Simpsons of the world AND the Harvard MBA's. It had kept up with the technology, methodology, and psychology of the constantly changing online environment. Things change. After all, a few short years ago, who had heard of the gleams in someone's eye which were to become Twitter and Facebook? Derek Gehl and his team at the IMC realized that the time had come not only to update the contents of their premier Internet marketing course, but to give it a new name which told the prospective user what it actually did. "Insider Secrets" hinted at hidden lore, and was often used as a come-on for almost any sort of money-making program, legitimate or not. "Marketing your Business on the Internet", could be taken as meaning that you already had a business to market...which many did not. With this, and many other things in mind, the IMC group, with Derek Gehl as its head, decided to give Corey Rudl's Internet marketing course a new name. They wanted a name which could tell anyone who saw it what to expect from its contents. They also wanted people to understand that anyone, at any level, with any sort of business could use their information to start, grow, and be successful with almost any Internet business. Out with the old, sadly, and in with the new, gladly. The "Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet" created by Corey Rudl, became the "Step-by-Step Guide to Selling Online", as updated by Derek Gehl and the IMC. A new face, some new content, but still the same great committment to making an Internet entrepreneur's foray into the world of trying to make money online as successful as possible.
